What you said made a ton of sense. However, think about this, what if you typed a catchier post title? I am not suggesting your information is not good., however what if you added a title to maybe grab people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little boring. You might glance at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create news headlines to grab people to click. You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab people interested about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would make your website a little livelier.
